Teaching practice First phase weekly report (First week)

 Phase 1 of Teaching practice 

week 1(14/07/2025-18/07/2025)

As part of the B.Ed curriculum (2024-2026), our third semester teaching practice began on July 14,2025 at NSS HSS Choorakod ,with seven teacher trainees from different optionals of KUCTE ,Adoor.I was so excited. Stepping into a new school environment was very exciting.This week was truly enriching and memorable.I had the opportunity to take several classes and made learning more engaging and student friendly.



One of the highlights of the week was the Thursday school assembly at 10 am,where we joined the teachers and actively participated in organising and supporting the event. Throughout the week,we were also involved in various school activities, which gave us a understanding of the day to day life of a school.Despite some physical challenges,I was able to manage my classes effectively,which boosted my self confidence and strengthened my passion for teaching.On the 3rd day of the week,i got terrible fever and was unable to take classes. Thus i was leave on Wednesday (16/7/25).

           This week has truly laid a strong foundation for my teaching journey, and I look forward to the coming days with great hope and excitement.

Teaching practice phase 1 -Second week

 Phase 1 of teaching practice (second week) Week 2(21/07/2025-25/07/2025) During the second week of my teaching practice, there were only three working days.On Monday, I  took my regular classes as usual. In the evening, we received the sad news of the passing of V. S. Achuthanandan, the former Chief Minister of Kerala. The following day was declared a public holiday as a mark of respect for his demise.On Wednesday, I conducted my classes according to the lesson plan. The next day was also a holiday due to Karkidaka Vavu.On Friday, I reached the school at 9:20 a.m. A science quiz was scheduled for the students in the afternoon, organized by the science teacher of the school. Many students actively participated in the event. Our optional teacher, Dr. Leena Vahid, had visited the school for class observation during the 5th and 6th periods. We conducted our lessons, and she observed the sessions and provided valuable feedback.

Mathematics day celebration

 MATHEMATICS DAY CELEBRATION  As a part of mathematics day, we conducted a programme on january 3rd 2025. We have performed a flashmob on january 1st 2025 for revealing the title of the programme ( MATHEMAGICA) . On jan 3rd, we have conducted an exhibition along with some games like treasure hunt, sudoku solving, and mathematics quiz.
