Teaching practice First phase weekly report-5th week📚📒

 Teaching Practice-week 5(August 11- 16 2025)📚📒

This past week, from August 11th to August 16th, was another beautiful and productive one. I was able to maintain a good relationship with the students and create a friendly atmosphere in the classroom.

Thursday, August 14th, was the school's election day. I was happy to be a part of the smooth and successful election process. That same afternoon, there was an NSS Trust general body meeting. Before the meeting, Anil sir gave us valuable suggestions and created duty schedules for the upcoming Onam exams.

Friday, August 15th, was a holiday for us, the student teachers, for Independence Day. The school management held a small celebration where only students from Red Cross and Little Kites participated in the flag hoisting.

Another joyful moment was seeing the Hiroshima and Nagasaki Day rally photograph published in Mathrubhumi newspaper on 11th August, which brought pride to the school.

On Wednesday, I conducted a diagnostic test for the 8th standard.

Since Saturday was declared a working day by the government, the students were given a study holiday in preparation for the Onam exams starting on August 18th. So, classes were only held in the morning. During this time, I focused on giving students classes based on practice question papers for the exams.

This week also had its share of challenging moments. The M.Ed. student teachers who had been with us for a while returned to their colleges. Even though we sincerely completed all our responsibilities, I was disappointed by the behavior of some teachers. However, the best part was that the Headmistress and many other teachers praised my teaching methods. Their encouraging words have motivated me to do even better in my teaching career.

As this week of teaching practice left behind a smooth and encouraging experience that will remain in our hearts. Though there is a touch of sorrow in parting from the beloved ones with whom we shared these precious weeks, the memories we created together will continue to warm our hearts and inspire us in our journey ahead.
